"Mel!" is a short film exploring the tumultuous life of 19-year-old Mellenie Ramirez, whose well-intentioned nature unravels into a dark spiral of opioid addiction and self-doubt following her father's tragic death, all while her mother battles cancer. As she loses touch with those close to her, Mellenie questions her capacity for love and fears a future of loneliness.
